our STORY

SUPPORTING CLEMSON STUDENTS SINCE 1928

Nearly 100 years ago, a Lutheran pastor came to Clemson University to serve as a chaplain to the military cadets on campus. Each week, they would gather for communal meals, Bible study, and worship. A century later, we're doing that still.
At a campus that is steeped in tradition, LCM is one the most enduring at Clemson. Join us a we continue to live into authentic community and grow in faith together.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
WE MEAN IT.

We call LCM a faith community, but it's not just for Lutherans (seriously, less than half our students grew up in a Lutheran church). Whether you've gone to church your whole life or never stepped foot in one, you are welcome just as you are. We believe that the most meaningful experience we can create is a sense of community with one another. And we think you're a part of that.
